Magic Land (Dan Neramit) - Bangkok
A large scale amusement park located on Phaholyotin Road, Bangkok on the way to Donmuang Airport, near Central Plaza.
Some popular entertainment machines are ferris wheels, roller coasters, animated
dinosaurs, a ghost house and more. Open 10.00 am-5.30 pm on weekdays and 10.00

themed areas: rides include a roler coaster that goes upside down, go-kart

Siampark, is another popular Bangkok entertainment venue merely a 60-minute drive from the Lard Prao flyover, is located
in suburban Amphoe Minburi. The park features an extensive man-made sea with
artificial surf, whirlpools, fountains and waterfalls, and towering water
slides amid carefully landscaped gardens. Satellite attractions include
children's playgrounds, aviaries, and open zoo and botanical gardens. The
complex is open daily from 10.00 to 18.00. Admission fee for foreigners is 400
baht for adults and 300 baht for children, for Thais the admission fee is
reduced to 200 baht for adults and 100 baht for children.

Paintball is a game of skill, strategy and daring normally played outdoors in
a woodland setting. Players are dressed in camouflage gear, and use
paintball-marking guns. Two equal teams compete against each other, the
objective is to capture your opposition’s flag and get it back to your home
base. During the game, players are eliminated when a paintball hits them and
bursts, marking them with a vivid coloured non-toxic dye that easily washes

Crocodile Farm and Zoo
The world's largest entertainment crocodile farm is the most famous attraction of Samut
Prakan. It houses more than 60,000 fresh and salt water crocodiles and also
offers an exciting show of a man playing with this dangerous animal. The farm
is located in the vicinity of Tambon Taiban 3 kms from the town. Crocodile
skins are produced as material for quality leatherware. Beside crocodiles of
all age, the farm also raises elephant, tigers, snakes and chimpanzees. The
Dinosaur Museum in the compound displays life-size models and skeletons of

Samphran Elephant Ground & Zoo
Located just one kilometer from the Rose Garden, this 60 acre farm is another
interesting attraction housing many different wild animals and thousands of
crocodiles. Fascinating performances such as crocodile wresting, magic show,

The Snake Farm - Bangkok
The Snake Farm is located on Rama IV Road, near Henri Dunant Avenue, within
the Thai Red Cross Institute. If you happen to get bitten by a snake or any
other kind of animal then this is a good place to come for treatment.
Vaccinations are available for cholera, smallpox, typhoid, hepatitis and
rabies as well as snake bite.
The Snake Farm is open for entertainment to the public every day from 8.30 am to 4.00 pm on
weekdays, and 8.30 am to 12.00 am on weekends and public holidays. Admission

King Rama lX Royal Park - Bangkok
The 200-acre park on Si Nakharin Road commemorates His Majesty King Rama IX's
60th birthday in 1987, and comprises a public park, a water park and extensive
botanical gardens. A central building displays the works and life of His
Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej. It is open to the public every day from 6.00
am-6.00 pm. Admission fee is 10 baht.
Bus service: Non air-conditioned buses No. 2, 25, 38, 48 and air-conditioned
buses No. 1, 8, 11, 13 to Soi Womsuk (Sukhumvit Soi 103) and thence by
mini-bus to the park.

The Rose Garden Country Resort - Bangkok
This popular tourist attraction is 32 kms. west of Bangkok on the bank of the
Thachin river. It boasts large, beautiful and well- maintained gardens and is
ideal for a picnic. Admission to the garden is 10 baht. In the resort there is
a Thai cultural village where daily at 2.45 pm. an attractive show comences.
There are for instance, Thai folk dancing, Thai boxing, sword fighting
demonstrations and elephant show. Admission to this show is 220 baht. The
resort can be reached by local buses from the Southem Bus Terminal. It is open
daily from 8.00 am to 6.00 pm.

Other public parks in Bangkok include Romaniyanat Park on Mahachai Road,
Lumphini Park on Rama IV Road, Saranrom Park at the crossroads of New Road-Rachini,
Chatuchak Park on Kamphaeng Phet Road (opposite the Northern Bus Terminal),
Benjasffi Park on Sukhumvit Road etc.
Leading department stores in Bangkok have their own theme parks. For example,
Fantasia Lagoon at the Mall Bang Khae (Tel.4540061), the Mall Bang Kapi
