China Town or Yaowarat Road has been home to the Chinese community since the early days of Bangkok and is famous for it's delicious food. One of the main reasons people travel to Asia is because it’s warmer. If you plan to travel to Thailand be prepared because it’s hot in Thailand all year round. For those who tend to affected by hot weather here are some things for you to be prepared when you travel to Thailand.

1. If you are considering on traveling to Thailand during the water festival of Songkran or Thai New Year you might want to give it a second thought if you are afraid of heat. In Thailand April is considered one of the hottest months and for you to best enjoy the water festival you’ll need to be out in the blistering sun. For those that love the sun this is the time you’ll enjoy the most playing water with local Thai’s.

2. Never leave your self to be dehydrated make sure you always have a bottle of water with you. There are plenty of 7-11 all over Thailand where you can buy a bottle of drinking water for less than 50 cents.

3. Bring hydration packets with you from your country. This is a good tip for those traveling to Thailand. Hydration packets are usually sold in sports stores or drugstores so give them a visit get some for your trip.

4. For clothes bring natural fibers like cotton or linen. It must also be loose and light colored clothing. If you’re planning visits to the Grand Palace in Bangkok, Thailand you’ll also need to bring along sport sandals and clothes that will cover your knees and shoulders as a gesture of respect for the.

5. Enjoy delicious Thai food! The more spicy it is the more you salivate and perspire which cools your body temperature and helps quench your thirst.

6. Buy your self an umbrella in Thailand to keep yourself from the sun. Umbrellas are so affordable that you may even want to leave it behind as you travel back to your country.

9. Having a hat can come in handy for those that don't plan on using an umbrella in Thailand.
