form of currency is used in Thailand (this is the most asked
question)? |
| Ans. It
is a unique currency not used in any other countries. The units
used are 100 satangs (same as the US currency for cents) makes
up 1 baht. You will also find that there are both coins and
notes used in day to day life. Coins in used are 25 and 50
satang, 1, 2, 5 and 10 baht. The bank notes in use are 20, 50,
100, 500 and 100 baht. Important:
All notes and coins have the image of His Majesty the King and
should be treated with respect. |
